Established in 1993, PT. Binasentra Muliatata with its brand name Jakarta Offshore Training Center (JOTC), is one of Country's leading Safety Training Institution that provides all Safety Training for Oil and Gas, Mining, Construction, Shipping, Manufacture, etc for both Offshore and Onshore Industries. Based on our record, JOTC clients are from variety Industries, however, National or Private Sharing Oil & Gas and Mining Company operating in Indonesia are our prominent Clients. Therefore, undoubtedly they acknowledge JOTC as a Safety Training Institution, which provides quality and cost effective Training.

JOTC has been in a leading role of the Safety Trainings and Consultancy for Offshore Oil & Gas Companies in the nearly past two decades.

Since the beginning, we the aim to provide quality services, consulting and training to the offshore oil and gas, mining, industrial and shipping and any other industries. JOTC pursues a policy of providing quality and cost effective competency based training to its key market segments. The training curriculum is based on guidelines set by International Industry Bodies and efficient work place practices in use throughout the world.

The training program accreditation involved some personnel over tens of years of proven experience, having responded to and successfully controlled various types of catastrophes on locations throughout the world. Our customers, as the students in attendance at the training centers, will be provided with the knowledge of those having actually been exposed to the disastrous results of improper procedures and demanding conditions that exist in an emergency.
A substantial capital investment has been committed to the development of Depok Training Center Facility. This world class facility contains the METS TM (Modular Egress Training System), a helicopter escape training module which is acknowledged worldwide as the best type in its field. We also invest the only Advanced Fire Ground suitable for Offshore Facilities in Indonesia. This special purpose Fire Ground would comply with all Offshore Oil Company needs.

Now, JOTC has developed its range of products so that they can be taught at remote site locations. This major advancement of "modulizing" the courses, has significantly increased our capability to provide first class training to clients who are not in a position to utilize our Training Facility center in Depok, West Java. Additionally JOTC can provide its clients with a number of new services that were not previously available.
By providing cost effective quality training, JOTC seeks to improve the skills and knowledge of the labor forces. In so doing it is our opinion that a well trained and experienced employee brings productivity and other benefits to his employer. Well trained employees will continue to make valuable contributions to the on going success of their employer business.

Since 1994 JOTC has been accreditation by MIGAS & PERTAMINA to conduct various Safety Training & Courses to the Oil & Gas Sectors and since 2001 become member of British Safety Council.

JOTC has also obtained DEPNAKER license to conduct training and consultancy service to the Construction Industries, Petro Chemical and Marine Industry.

The HUET and Sea Survival Course offered by JOTC are the courses currently accredited by the Australian National Training Board.

Through JOTC associate company, Consist Sdn Bhd, conducting HUET, Sea Survival and Basic Offshore Safety and Emergency Training in Kuala Lumpur have been approved and accredited by Petronas Carigali, SHELL and EPMI.

Most of JOTC training modules are been setup with the guideline set and meet the requirement by IMO, STCW-95, AMSA, OPITO, UKOOA and E&P Forum.

The success of a firm in the world of competition will highly depend on productivity improvement, we should also be aware of rapid change, "the introduction of the new technology and of the impact of major, structural changes on the need for QUALIFIED MANPOWER". The need of qualified manpower should rather be met through a proper training system.
A basic assumption is that training potential in Indonesia is virtually unlimited. Despite expected reduced growth rate of the economy, it is foreseen that the demand for skilled workers will continue to exceed the supply and that there are large and urgent training needs.
Therefore, training programs should be well planned, particularly to ensure more efficient use of current training resources and to adjust manpower programs to the sector and regional diversity of the Indonesian economy.
